Graviola, (native to most of the warmest, most tropical areas of North and South America including the Amazon) is a small, evergreen tree. The Graviola tree commonly grows to about 5 or 6 meters in height and has large dark green, glossy leaves. The Graviola tree bears a large, heart-shaped fruit. The fruit, which is slightly sour but edible is frequently eaten straight from the tree or used in making various drinks or sherbets.
All parts of the Graviola tree are traditionally used. Graviola bark, leaves, roots, stems, fruit and even the fruit seeds are believed to be beneficial so nothing is wasted. Different properties and uses are attributed to the different parts of the Graviola tree. Our Graviola capsules are made from finely ground graviola leaves and stems to which a 4:1 extract has been added for extra strength, then put into an easy to use, strong 650 mg. capsule.
