You have probably read accounts of the tea commonly reffered to as Caisse's tea, medicine man tea and "Essiac®". The internet is full of stories. The original MEDICINE MAN TEA formula given to nurse Caisse was said to contain only 4 herbs used in precise amounts or "ratio." There are many variations of the tea marketed under various names, most recently ESIAK.
While some companies have added other ingredients to their product, our Herbal Tea Formula capsules still contain only the original 4 herbs in the same proportions as our product formerly called ESIAK TEA CONCENTRATE.

In 1922, a kindhearted nurse of Haileybury, Ontario, was told the story of an Indian tea formula made up of only 4 simple herbs.
The nurse decided to called the tea "Essiac®," which was her last name spelled backwards.
Now many companies are using a combination four herb formula and are making it available to everyone.
